Requirements
Minimum requirement:

Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
Experience:

Appropriate experience as a Cleaner in a Health Facility.

Experience in the use of cleaning equipment, cleaning materials and cleaning detergents.
Infection control and occupational health and safety experience.
Inherent requirement of the job:

Willingness to work flexible hours.
Competencies (knowledge/skills):

Fluency in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape.
Knowledge of Batho Pele Principles.
Duties (key result areas/outputs):

Provide a clean, hygienic environment in and outside the health care facility to prevent the spread of infection.
General cleaning and maintenance.
Ensure care of cleaning equipment.
Actively involved in infection control and occupational health and safety activities.
Optimal support to supervisor and colleagues.
