Civil Technologist Draughtsman

Tecroveer is an Environmental Engineering company involved in the Waste Water sector. We pride ourselves in cleaning water for future generations and this is our drive and passion. We design, refurbish and operate new and established Waste Water Plants all over the country and in some neighboring countries. We are involved in the cleaning of Acid Mine Drain water in South Africa as well. We have offices in Glenharvie, Krugersdorp and Potchefstroom.

The company is looking to employ a Civil Detailer to work between the Krugersdorp and Glenharvie offices, for a fix term contract of 6 months, with possible extention or permanent employement at the end of the term. The successful candidate will be involved in the measurement and draughting of civil and strucutral drawings.

Work effectively under pressure whilst producing quality drawings and meeting production deadlines.
Willingness to work after hours in order to meet project key dates.
Willingness to travel and do site measurements/work.
The key performance areas are:

Civil draughting in applicable draughting software programs
Must have working knowlage of Concrete/Structural detailing
Must be able to do complex reinforcement detailing with ease
Must be able to go to visit sites, conduct onsite measurements and collection of information.
Must be able to generate detial drawings from concept sketches
Must be able to read, write and understand advance english
Must be able to read and understand Surveying information and data
Meeting project key dates
Effective time management
Adherence to company-specific standards and procedures
The candidates for concideration should have more than 5 years experience as a detailer.



Other key requirements:

AutoCAD drawing experience for at least 5 years.

Concrete, reinforcement and structural steel detailing, including schedules, for at least 5 years.

Matric

Qualification in Drafting is recommended.

National Diploma – Civil Engineering / B. Tech Civil Engineering qualification

Drivers license, minimum Code B

English literacy

Own transport
