Business Analyst (Financial Services) - Cape Town

DVT is looking for an intermediate to business analyst to join our vibrant consulting team. This position is Permanent and open to South African citizens only.
Ensure efficient and cost effective business solutions and processes are in place to address business needs / requirements.
Facilitate effective business processes by eliciting, analysing, validating and documenting business organisational and / or operational requirements
Act as a bridge between business, stakeholders and solution team.
Define business rules and guide the implementation of these rules in the development of various applications
Work closely with systems analyst and project manager to design and implement solutions.
Engage with business representatives to obtain input and agreement on alternatives (related to best practice in the industry) that are presented.
Accurately communicate business requirements to IT to ensure that the business needs are efficiently addressed.
Keep business user informed of any changes (also accommodate changes in requirements as they are progressively elaborated.)
Relevant Tertiary education
Relevant Business Analysis qualification essential (FTI etc.)
Minimum of 4 - 5 years’ experience in a similar role
Minimum of 2 years professional experience working within the financial services Industry
Previous experience at a financial services organisation

Strong working knowledge of business processes
Ability to package and present analysis with recommendations to management and executive teams
Ability to work in complex, changing environments
Client-focused thinking
