Purpose of the Job
Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, the Broker Sales Consultant role involves business development and relationship management within a base of Life Assurance Intermediaries that we are intending to grow. The Broker Sales Consultant must work with and through others to build and maintain these relationships. Awareness of and responsiveness to the needs and concerns of customers is critical in this role, as well as working closely and accurately within established guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
Support and service intermediaries in sales efforts by preparing quotes, statement of benefits and other relevant supporting information;
Plan, organise and control liaisons with intermediaries and their managers;
Constant communication and feedback to Advisers relating to all aspects of intermediary operations;
Ensure continuous improvement of service standards to clients; and
Ensure alignment to Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) in all business practices.
Experience
At least 2 yearsβ experience in the Financial Services or Life Assurance industry in a sales and/or service related role
Matric;
A minimum of a 3 year Bachelorβs degree or National Diploma; and
A completed NQF 5 β Wealth Management or RFP 3 would be advantageous
Knowledge
Intermediate knowledge of the Life Assurance or Financial Services Industry
