Back of House Porter (Fixed Term)-The Twelve Apostles Hotel

JOB SUMMARY:
We are looking for a task orientated individual with great attention to detail who can work in a pressured environment, to support the Food and Beverage operation by ensuring the continuous availability of clean operating equipment.

ORGANISATIONAL POSITIONING:
Department: Food and Beverage
Reporting to: Leopard Bar Manager
Location: The Twelve Apostles Hotel Premises
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE OR QUALIFICATION:
Grade 12 Certificate
Good understanding and ability to converse in English
Presentable
Able to do heavy lifting
Able to work flexible hours, weekends and holidays

KEY PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES:
To ensure that glassware is handled, washed and stored in accordance with company SOP ensuring constant availability of glass stock as well as minimal breakages
To ensure back of house area is kept in a tidy and hygienic state in accordance with company and statutory health and safety requirements
To ensure cleaning chemicals are used in accordance with manufacturer’s recommendations ensuring optimal cleaning
