Assistant Storeman Vacancy

Minimum requirements for the role:

Grade 12 is essential; Maths and Accounting would be advantageous.

A related Certificate or Diploma in Warehouse or Logistics would be preferred.

Must be computer literate on MS Office

Candidate must have a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse environment.

Candidate must be energetic with good written and verbal communication skills.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Stock takes

Recording returns for damaged or incorrect products.

Planning loads for the day and providing daily reports to the Stores Manager.

Performing quality checks to ensure packaging is not damaged before loading.

Overseeing all dispatching activities to the customer base, which includes urgent deliveries.

Ensuring excellent customer service at all times.

General Requirements:

AA/EE Candidate preferred

Non-smoking

Residing in and around Jhb – Northern suburbs

Own transport preferable

Criminal & ITC Clear

Salary negotiable - depending on experience/qualifications

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: R6,000.00 to R8,500.00 /month
