A company in Parow, Cape Town is looking for an Administrator

Main Objectives:

1. Administration of outgoing quotations for the branch.

2. Co-ordination and administration of confirmed jobs.

3. Accurate allocation of all financial information such as hire/purchase orders and invoicing in Hiretrack under instruction from the Hire Desk Manager.

4. Control of Switchboard at the Head Office when required


Basic computer literacy
A course in admin would be an advantage

Good verbal and written communication skills.
Courteous and methodical
Good telephone manner
Ability to cope under pressure
Ability to problem solve effectively and timeously
Ability to multitask
Basic Knowledge:



Under the supervision of the onsite Admin Team Leader:

Prepare quotations accurately as per the quotation requisition and/or instructions.
Ensure that the handler receives the quotation timeously via email, fax or hand delivery.
Conduct telephonic follow-ups with handlers regarding quotations.

Under the supervision of the onsite Admin Team Leader:

Update equipment, crewing and transport lists in consultation with the relevant managers to ensure that all Hiretrack information remains accurate after confirmation.
Book, co-ordinate and generate orders in Hiretrack for crew, transport, forklift hire, crane hire, generator hire, vehicle hire, stagehands, consumables, per diems, accommodation and travel and any other job-related expenses.

General admin duties

Assist management with any other duties as may be required.
