Accounts Receivable Clerk


Job Description:

Will report to the senior admin clerk;
Will handle full function debtors for part of the debtors book
Preferably matriculate OR some post school bookkeeping training;
Minimum 3 years debtors experience;
Experience in handling debtor insurance

Will be responsible for:

Preparation of debtor statements

Reconciliation of accounts
Consultation with our debtor management partners in sending final demands/processing hand over’s
Preparation of monthly age analysis and reporting to the financial manager on delinquent accounts
All relevant filing and audit preparation of the debtors accounts
Calling customers to enquire about payments
Following up on customer requests for credit and customer returns
Daily reconciliations with the cash book clerk on unallocated payments
