Main purpose of the job

To ensure that the full banking function is done accurately and deadlines are met.

Full Creditors function

Assist with Debtors function


Key responsibilities

Responsible for full Banking function

Processing of EFT payments for Cash Book Payments

Creditors Reconciliations and payments

Creating Ad hoc Debtors invoices

Debtors Reconciliations and collections

Administration of BEE procurement

Handling of petty cash entries and reconciliation’s

Ad hoc analysis of general ledger accounts

Relevant Tax Schedules – Year end

Completion of Month End Processes

Cash Management and Interest

Weekly Timesheet Reports

Reconciliation Staff Travel Expenses

Filing & Scanning

Ensure Banking, Creditors and Debtors function is completed timeously.

Ensure that you are well versed with the internal accounting procedures.

Ensure that the BEE procurement is kept up to date.

Ensure that you have a good working relationship with the Finance clients.

Important relationships

Internal

Build relationships and provide a level of customer service to all internal staff at Millward Brown and Added Value

Build strong relationships with global Inter Companies

External

Relevant finance external clients.

Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience

Matric

Bookkeeping Diploma.

At least 3-4 years bookkeeping

Technical Competencies Required

PC Literate:

Advanced knowledge of Excel.

Accounting software package knowledge.

Basic knowledge of Internal Controls
